Was looking at my MAF today(yeah, I know, I am easily entertained)... its the hotwire type.. right next to the electrical plug, there is a little round plastic plug that covers what appears to be some sort of adjustment screw.. can anyone tell me what this is?

It might be a variable resistor for calibration purposes.
