1993 Impreza check engine light

Featured Replies

I'm trying to get the codes to blink on a 1993 Impreza I just purchased. All of the references I have found describing the terminal(s) I am looking for don't describe what I am finding. The only connector I find is pictured below. Can anyone give me a hand on this?

I've looked under the right side and see nothing! (All wires are connected). I am assuming that I am looking for a connector that is NOT connected to anything - correct????

Is there someone with this same vehicle that can post a very detailed description or post a photo (or tell me if I am indeed looking at the correct connector in the first photo I posted - AND tell me which terminals to connect/ground/??? to get it to flash codes and clear codes).

I've worked on a lot of cars through the years but this is getting frustrating (especially when the shop is asking $90 just to connect their tool and read the codes to me).

Hi you guys.
