I got the forester struts for the imp.. now what? Zap?

Featured Replies

I got a set of 3.5 '98 forester struts.. (one of them was bad, so i only got the RR spring and strut top...)

so what is it I need to do to them before I can bolt them onto my impreza L wagon?

do I use my imps rear springs, or tops, or.. ?

which also means I am looking for a RR forester strut (just the strut.. needs to be used but not broken!)

I used the impreza springs and tops. If I had it to do over again, I woulda hunted down some forester or outback springs for the rear to give it a slight rake. It seems to sit a little higher in the front.

I've got a set of spring compressors if you wanna borrow them.

Be aware that there are camber adjusting bolts for both front and rear. You can adjust it to match your new struts.

I'd advise getting two new rear struts rather than just one. Bite the bullet and have a matching set.

Feel free to call me if you have more questions.
