No Fuel!!

Recommended Posts

So I took lifted out for a spin today, filled it with 5 gallons of fuel, and it started sputtering a bit a little while after. I turned around and started to head back. The car cut out and I couldn't get it going. There was no fuel in the carb and I traced it all the way back to the filter coming out of the tank. The brat HAD been sitting for a while, but it also HAD driven 100 miles and then some for the last week, so I don't know. Should I drain the tank and try again, or look into getting a new one?

I wasn't getting fuel after one of my wagons sat for a couple of months, scratched my head for a while, figured out the fuel pump wasnt sending, so i crawled under and thwhacked it with a hammer a couple of times, started right up. Must of been a peice of sediment settled weird and caught just right. Could be worth a try, could be more serious...just puttin in my 2 cents. -Steve
