I was wondering if anyone knows how hard of a job it would be to install a manual tranny into a 93 Loyale that currently has an automatic. Would this be worth my trouble or not. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

what is your skill level? I wouldn't hesitate doing the swap on a car that i needed for work tomorrow, but my dad couldn't do it to save his life.

 

If you can pull the motor in an hour, or change a front axle in 30 minutes you should have the skill to do the swap.

Miles Fox helped me do the job in my 92 Loyale. Can be done with the engine installed, but easier to do with the engine out. You need to replace the transmission, shifter assemblies, pedals, flywheel, clutch pressure plate/disc, clutch cable, transmission crossmember, and rear driveshaft.
