anyone know the size of the front and rear speakers in an 86 gl wagon? i am getting conflicting reports on line.

the fronts are 4'' and the raer door speakers are 6.5''....you might be able to put in 6'' x 9'' in the rear doors if there is enough clearance, osme speakers have bigger magnets than others, but as far as the fronts go,.....your stuck with 4''.

thanks dude. i saw everything from 4inch to 6 x 9 inch.

You can use 5 1/4 in the front if you use the plastic mount from a loyale with the bigger front speakers
