josips
Hi, My father has owned his 1985 Subaru 1.8 GL Auto since new, its only got 57,000 kilometers on it. It's the carbureted version, with a choke pull out lever on the dash, which is supposed to retract when warm. Issue is, about a year or two ago the choke lever stopped retracting when it reached running temperature. On occasions, it attempts to retract but it's usually only a tiny 'click'. Before it went back fully with quite a bit of speed. Does anyone know how it's possible to fix this? He just got it serviced, but it still seems to have the stuck choke problem. Any ideas much appreciated Regards Joh
