hatchsub Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 How should i go about wiring all the emmisions stuff to the weber or is that out of the question? I notice how much emmisions hosing is relying on the stock air cleaner assembly. I would like to keep my car emmisions legal seeing as how i drive it everyday but would also like some more power. subynut Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 Well, all that emmisions stuff is for the orig carb. You can basicly pull all that stuff out, cause the weber doesn't use it. the sucker king Posted June 14, 2005 Share Posted June 14, 2005 you really should check with your states emmission folks (i assume connecticut tests emissions) to find out what you are required to have on your make and model. for example in colorado a 1980 1800 hatch is only flagged for air injection. so i was able to legally remove all the other stuff. this info i got by making a couple phone calls and having them run my vin.
