June 17, 200520 yr pulled the codes on my turbo and it popped up 21 22 23 (coolant temp sensor or circuit, knock sensor or circuit, air flow meter or circuit) could all of these be related since they all popped up when i replaced my engine and its been running like crap, bogs down at times and others runs just fine is there one circuit that could just be outawhack or do i need to replace all these things? i also have to depress the accelorator all the way and crank it for about 5 seconds before it turns over and runs
June 17, 200520 yr Start with replacing the coolant temp sensor I'd say, its a problematic piece, but cheap and easy to replace.

June 17, 200520 yr Before you replace anything, clean the contacts and test the parts.. If you buy new, the MAF can be pretty expensive.
June 17, 200520 yr Dealer wanted about $80 for a new knock sensor. Junk yard was $5. Mamma didn't raise no fool..... or did she???????
June 19, 200520 yr Author replaced the temp sensor and knock sensor off another engine that i have, still has codes being pulled for em. how do i test these different sensors? is there an amount of resistance that i need to find?
