Strange, Any Ideas?

Here's the situation:

I just replaced both axles on the 82 at the same time. I went to test drive it and it won't move!!! What the hell? First time iv'e ever had that problem. How could the tranny bind? Any thoughts?

Signed stuck in misery. :-(

Any chance you have an axle over top of the e-brake line? That could cause it.

no noises, won't budge.

Ebrake.... hmmm...

does it feel like it's in gear and trying or just not doing anything?

manual or automatic? automatic im guessing and FWD?

if you violently yanked on the axles while removing maybe one or both of the stubs in the transmission (that the axles slide onto) came out of place? doubtful, but weird problems lend themselves to wierd situations.

Ok. frozen brake piston.

Somehow the left side seized during reassembly... I screwed it in one half turn and reset it. runs fine now.

Thanks for your ideas.
