Been here before but had to reregister. bummer.

1990 2.2 liter manual xmsn.

I have a bad set of contacts in my starter solenoid.

Rebuilt starter is about $100 from Autozone! New is $310 from dealer. What are my options?

Find a electric motor rebuilder locally and get the starter contacts from them.

contacted local auto electric guy and he seemed agreeable to sell just the parts I need. Total rebuild 65 bucks.

Will compare rebuild vs. individual parts cost and make call.
