Engine starts but doesn't turn over

Featured Replies

I have a 1993 Loyale. lately the car sometimes starts but will not turn over but if I leave it for about 24 hours after that then the engine turns over. Once I get it going their seems to be no problem. Anybody know what the problem is?

it sounds like it could be a battery. then it recharges and starts. you could check your battery.

Check the battery terminals for corrosion and cables. I had a bad cable once and it caused my Loyale to only start on occasion. It would just click when I turned the key. Replaced the cable and I was back in business.

do you have to get it some where? if you do and it is a manual, just get it rolling and pop the clutch. it should take.

Oh so it does turn over? Could be lots of things then. Start with your basics like basic tune up stuff. Could be a fuel issue. Do you have a check engine light? You might wanna check the codes.
