Chirping in my front end

Featured Replies

I've been noticing a chirping coming from the front passenger side of the car while I'm driving. I'm pretty certain it's in the wheel somewhere. Could the bearings be going out? If so how hard of a job is it to replace them? Does anyone have any tips to make the job go easier? I've never had great luck with changing bearings, something always seems to complicate the job and make it take twice as long as it should. I have an '84 Wagon if that makes a difference.

Could be your brakes.. have you pulled the tire off to see how much pad you have left on there??

No I have not. I'll have to look into that. I would much rather do a brake job.
