I'd really like to start doing some of my own work on my Subaru (99 Outback Legacy wagon), but I haven't had as much luck figuring things out on this car as I did on my old Nissan pickup.

 

Any local groups or patient subaru owners in the "greater" Longmont Colorado area who could give me a push or two in the right direction?

First, go buy a good manual. Try "PM ing" a couple of the locals. You can do a search in the members section. I believe Larry Dew is nearby. Good luck.
