We just bought a 91 Loyale wagon & the ac isn't blowing cold. I haven't checked around yet, but I assssume with the r-12, it can't be recharged?.???

 

What kind of a deal is it to switch it over to the newer style, (R134?)??

If it quit suddenly it could also be the clutch or I suppose the compressor.

 

Oops! I re-read your post and since you just bought the car you don't know if it quit suddenly or not. Still worth checking, though.
