Feeling bad

Featured Replies

I have 92 legacy wagon when I go over 40 or RPM over 2grand it shakes and stalls, is this a common problem ? :-\ I hope someone can help because I really like the car.

Can you provide a little more information about the problem. When did it start happening, did you change anything...any other info?

Does the engine stall?

I'm not sure how speed is related to the problem unless that's when your rpms go above that point, but I would assume they're going to be above that point when you accelerate anyway.

wow! um - (caution! wild guesses ahead) I'd check for a slipped timing belt or a clogged catalytic converter.

very odd

The car shakes and stalls after a minute or two it starts up again.

hmmm, I dunno now, maybe some kind of fuel starvation? fuel filter clogged or weak pump or bad fuel regulator?

If it is in neutral, will it rev to redline? Does it idle smoothly?

Does it only happen if its cold? Or if it is rainy or misty?

Has anyone tried to get codes from the ECU? Have any sensors or parts been replaced to try to fix it?

We need a few more specifics.
