98 2.5gt subwoofer

Featured Replies

Hey guys Just saw a few subwoofers on ebat that say they fit 98 legacy's. It says they fit unfer the front seat..and plug right into the stereo..is this true..does anyone have one?

Hey yeah my 98 2.5 GT has a stock 80 watt Subaru 8" Sub-Woofer/Amp under my drivers seat. I had a 6 disc changer under the passenger too until I broke it.

oh ok...does the sub plug right in the back of the stock stereo?

I'm 99% sure it plugs right into the back of MY stock stereo... I don't however know if it plugs into the stock stereo's that aren't already equiped with it... but if you have a stock deck that was designed with the woofer and/or disc changer plugs you should be all good.

Well I installed the Subaru Amp/Sub under the seat but it doenst sound that loud...did i do something wrong?? I have the gain up and the volume control...any ideas?? What size is the sub?

I'm pretty sure it's just an 80 watt 8" sub.. not a lot of power there... just enough to give you a little tickle... :brow:
