espey_16 Posted September 20, 2005 Share Posted September 20, 2005 I'm starting to hate my 2 wheel drive suby, on the way to pick up a cake for my friends birth day I striped out another wheel hub on the driver side. luckily a friend picked me up and i snaged another off my old 4x4 sub. The cv axle is still good though. Is the hub designed to strip before the axle? This is the second time its happened on that side. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

LOL I was just getting ready to say that the cv axle wasn't seating all the way. That is the only way that I could see the hub stripping out like that.
