'91 legacy drivers w/wiper

Featured Replies

Died. When car was bought about 3months ago it only did about 1/3rd of what it should have. Went to a parts house link that someone posted earlier (thank you-by the way). They list a L&R wiper transmission (pricey parts), i'm used to fords where all they have is a rod that goes from the motor to closest wiper & another that connects to the next wiper, what do i have to look out for???

Any tips, advice or suggestions would be appreciated!!

Can't help you on diagnosis, wipers on my 91 never given me a problem. But for parts check out the market place forum, I just got stuff from BlackBart and Andrewp724 who were parting out early 90's Legacys. Also don't forget the W/W switch and motor contacts when diagnosing problems. But if one is working, and the other not then prolly mechanical.

I have a 91 Legacy parts car I'm wanting to strip down to get rid of and the

wiper system is still in tact. Not sure about the L&R transmission bit but willing

to take a look at it. Worked when it was driven home 8 months ago. Fried the

tranny gettng it their but I was after the struts and motor.
