I got off an overnight shift at 8 am today, and as I rode my bike back to the house I noticed the Safari Wagon was sitting a little funny...

It's been on jackstands for a few days getting a bunch of random stuff fixed. Unfortunetly we had a big storm last night and the dirt got all mushy. Doh! Lotsa dunken folks hang out at my house late-night, I'm thinking somebody probably bumped into it.

No big deal, but thought it was kinda funny and surreal in a I-haven't-slept-in-a-while kinda way. Good morning, I'm going to bed.

Now, THAT'S a low-rider.

No kidding, I couldn't get the floor jack under it!

Ouch, everything survive the fall?

Crunched a y-pipe once like that...but was my fault, and y-pipe landed on the jack that was sitting there. I always push on my cars now after putting them on jackstands before taking the tires off, I always learn the hard way :-\

Start at the back and have a buddy stand on the bumper for counter wieght, something similar happend to a guy i work with except instead of it falling off jack stands they loosend the lugs and kicked the fenders until they knocked all four tires and rims off the thing. then they continued to strip the interior of the car. I felt really bad for the guy when i showed up to work the next morning and his car that he'd been working on so that his girlfriend could drive it was resting on the rotors. the car just looked pitiful.

Everything is fine, I had to use a stock scissor jack to get it up a few inches, then put the floor jack under it. It didn't have a y-pipe at the time, I was in the process of changing it out.

I noticed upon further inspection that the drivers side mirror was collapsed foward. You can see it in the picture. That, combined with the empty bottle of Jagermeister on my kitchen floor, supports my theory that some drunkard fell into it. :drunk:
