WOW how did u know i played around with the air filter!!!! i NEED help i already called for a tow tommorow morning and its gonna cost 200$ if i dont get it fixed THANKS YOU SOOO MUCH IF U CAN HELP ME!!

Did you play with the filter just before the problem started of after, if before the problem started there are 2 maybe 3 hoses that run into the plastic air filter housing that if disconnected can cause a problem similar to the one you are having....

i did play with it before, but the only parts i see connected to air intake is the air filter box, and that random thingy that turns outward off of the air intake(looks like it restricts power)

so you put on either a K&N air filter, or you put on and entire intake, either way you definately have a Vacuume leak, there is a hole on the intake that is letting in unmetered air behind the mass airflow sensor, this will cause the engine to stall. which i believe 99% is your problem.

Directly under that random thingy is a hose. Put your hand on the random thingy and let it fall. The hose you are now touching is loose on the passenger side connection. Use a flashlight and stick your face up in there.

Good luck
