The issue with welding it up is that I use the car on a daily basis. it also acts as my wifes backup for her P.O.S. Audi (she's driving the soob as we speak). I also would prefer not to have put an axle in or swap a diff every time I wanted to run my daily driver off road. Thanks for the suggestion Qman, and after we sell the Audi and get the wife a Legacy wagon I'll probabally weld the diffs in my GL
