white but its not like Water/coolent that has a sweet smell.. this has a nasty smell..

do you know when the last it was started? and if the fuel sat in it for a long time you could have some issues there.

it seems to run fine. but the Smoke starts coming out when I put it in gear, so I'm thinking its ATF burning off.. bad Modulator or something like that... and it keeps coming out for some time... since the trannies shot anyway...

I dont think there is any possible way for ATF to get into the engine and burn off. I would check every vac. hose and ever coolant hose and just make sure they are all hooked up right, i mean i've seen coolant hoses hooked to intakes and fuel return hooked to coolant and vice versa. I would just go over all the hoses under the hood and make sure they are all where they need to be.

Tranny fluid can get sucked into the engine through the vacuum line from the modulator, if the modulator diaphram is ruptured.

Good to know, i think the only other car that had somthing like that was the old fords...but anyway.....yeah.....i feel stupid.......
