Some things to thing about,,, puting blocks under the engine mounts would actualy return the engine to it's proper pitch, because the automatic tranny has smaller lift blocks than the standard,,, also,, it would move the engin back away from the radiator,,,, also ,, i designed the pitch-stoper , to be adjustable within 1" ,,,,, just some things to consider -
Anyone know which Subaru pancake engine is the most powerfull?

I test drove a 01 forester the other day,, there was so much of a unstopable vibration in the shifter , it was down right scarry,,, and it was on a subaru lot , so i figured they had to know about the problem, the machanic there at the dealership said it was "normal" go figure:-\. anyway, back to the subject, i have seen a forester with a 2 " lift ,, looked pretty cool:) But it's just hard to beat the way an old GL looks lifted

I added up the parts and labor involved to build one,, and if you had to buy these parts . it is much cheeper to buy the whole thing! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8060785885&fromMakeTrack=true http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GREDDY-OIL-CATCH-RESERVOIR-TANK-CAN-SUBARU-IMPREZA-WRX_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33556QQitemZ8062619709QQrdZ1 10 dollars for item and 20 for shipping, not bad. -

DUDE!!!! LOOKS NICE!!! I like the choice on the simple Brush guard. You could of just bought mine!! LOL Im down near Wilmington, but im from Winston originaly! I just sold mine to Dylan from VA. I guess the NC lifted club is back down to two. Would be cool to take a couple of lifted subees to Yadkin and play in some red clay. Or you could bring it down to the beach and play in some sandy black peet,,, or drive it on one of ether the north or south ends of carolina beach. I already miss my old Subeee,, it never got stuck! I was going to try and "grow -up" but seeing those pics of your wagon in the mud gives me the SUB-BUG agian:lol:

Yeah,, If however you are planning to diconnect the lines,,you have to have the gas recaptured (evacuated) by a ac teck or if you know a HVAC tech he could do it for you.. ,i mean ,, you could just release it at the charge fitting,, but that would not be enviromentaly responsible
