October 17, 200520 yr The company I work for just got 2 used '05 outback xt's for our fleet and upon my general inspection I noticed that they have totally different intake manifold set up. One mfg date is 11/04 and the other is 2/05.I realize that there may be some difference just because of the dates. Both of them are the EJ25 N/A motors.I guess the real reason I am inquiring is just that I am curious.Both are very awesome cars.I was glad that my slight persuasion to the executive board ended up in 2 subarus to the fleet.Yay!I would much rather work on subes anyway.
October 17, 200520 yr Is one plastic while the other is metal? Or are they just two different metal shapes? It could be that one is a PZEV motor while the other is not...
