So....I've got this 14lb ACT flywheel....wanna put it in the RX.

 

I know I'll need the EJ PP...but I can use the EA82 disc as its EXACTLY the same as anything 4wd from 1981 or so to 2006+....

 

I also know I'll need to mark the flywheel for the timing marks/t-belt marks and make some holes wider so it'll physically bolt on the EA82 crank.

 

So...what starter do I use?

So you are using an EA series transmission with a EJ series flywheel? That does sound like a conundrum. Maybe mock it up trying EA-6X EA-8X and EJ-XX starters? Sorry not much help. Becomming more and more interested in other clutch/flywheel options. My clutch slips as it is.

I don't think it would work, or we'd use it in the EJ swaps

would you be able to use the stock starter with the gear from the ej?
