Fuel shut off valve

My son has a 97 legacy wagon. Does anyone know if this car has an inerita sensor that would shut off the engine ie fuel if you were in an accident? many thanks fishigon.

the haynes manual does not mention a saftey shut off,there is 2 relays under dash on drivers side,if you cant hear pump run thru the filler ,check fuses and these relays. ed

i believe there is a flip over valve, but that won't effect the car unless you... flip over.
