Hatch questions-weatherstripping + clicking

Featured Replies

Hello to everyone. I have a couple of questions reguarding my 87 hatch I hope you all can help me with.

First, Does anyone know where I can score a model specific weather stripping kit for the front doors?

Second. I have a loud clicking coming from the left side in the front. It only occurs when slowing down in gear. It is not brake related. I was assuming it was the CV joint, but I thought I'd get yalls opinion.

Any info/opinion you can provide would be a great help. I just bought this lifted hatch and am trying to turn back into a road worthy vehicle. Thanks

Thats what I thought, The car came with two freshly rebuilt axles, so I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend. Any Ideas on the weatherstripping? My passenger door has none on it what so ever..

Three possiblities for weatherstripping..a junkyard, subaru dealer, or on here. Im sure there is someone in the parts forum thats got something and can send it. Thats what i would do at least.

shouldn't take you an entire weekend to do the axles, took me probably four hours the first time i did it. its a snap, unless you cant get your axle off.
