ok the first line is 0 Rpms so whats the line after that? and the last line before 1,000 rpms?

Depends on how many lines there are in between . If there's like 4, each line would be another 200rpm. If there's say 9, each would be another 100rpm.

Counting from 1,000 down to 0 their are 2 lines I don't think you count 0 as a line.

They are 500 and 750. Very common for Subaru (and many others)

Counting Backwards from 1000 it's 750, 500 then the bottom line is 0.

 

In this pic it is sitting at 0. the next space in the white band is actually 500. The you see the mark for 1 meaning 1000 rpm
