the light on my Trip computer/clock is intermitiant, if I hit it hard enough it comes on for a couple of key cycles or until I hit a bump? is it just a loose connection?

 

If so what do I look for?

i had that too then it finally died. Its internal to the ciruit board. Mine also got the beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep of death, where i finally just disconnected it as my hand was getting sore.
