bigwavedv
Hello to all, I have already learned good info on here! Good site. I havent been able to get a straight answer ( by searching or browsing) about whether it is easier to pull the engine or trans to replace the clutch, 93 Legacy wagon 2.2- my friends car. I am not a novice to engine removal or clutch repairing so either way is ok with me. I have received about 50/50 answers about which way is ideal. Also, while having the flywheel resurfaced, I have heard you should not re-use flywheel bolts. Is this true? Thats a first for me, are they stretch bolts such as a head bolt on some engines? Any tips and ideas would be great I am going to start the clutch tonite. Thanks for a good site. -Dave
nipper
I would think that it is far easier to pull the trannny then the engine. Also from what ive read and heard, well on newer soobies, they really dont like having the flywheels turned, as the flywheels are light and think already, you just replace it. It will save you alot of issues later on. nipper
