PeterD Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 has anyone every dynod an ea81?im heading for texas and for the heck of it, were gonna throw the ea81 on the dyno. stock cept a cut out air filter housing, and an accell coil. wonder what i should expect at the front wheels. 50? the guys at the shop are gonna laugh their asses off i took my vw scirocco to a free dyno day, there was a ton of cars.. well about 30, some hopped up neon srt-4s a few turbo mr2s and a hand full of your usual rice. i put down 78hp at the front wheels and 95lb/ft of tourqe.. i was not laughed at, we all had a good time.. and they complimented my nice fat tourqe curv. i would not expect anything above 60hp at the wheels. and if the place has some mature, genuine car guys they will enjoy helping you out.
