Is a Turbo Legacy 4EAT transmission a suitable/direct replacement for a SVX 4EAT?

The STOCK transmission wasnt' strong enough :lol: although there are parts available from transtar to make 'em last longer.

 

If I were you though I'd go STi six speed

The center section of the trans is the closest thing you are going to get to SVX but the gear ratio doesnt match if I remember correctly. A simple change of front differential would solve that though.

I'm not worried about the ratio, I was just curious if the transmission from the Legacy will bolt up and work in the SVX, I can change the rear diff.
