  5. Hi Dane,

I don't have a hatch anymore, still have a couple bits, no glass or body parts. I might still have a front bumper or a push bar, I would have to look. Where are you located?

    Mark

  6. haha-thats my old brat-I can't believe it lives on-good on ya mate! I'm glad you fixed the core support, the fender was holding up the whole front of the car! I'm glad to see you are fixing it, I had a lot of fun with the car. I really like your extra cab mod, that is really sweet, great innovation with available parts! I have a 86 that is in disrepair, I may try the same mod!
  7. I need a favor (will pay), PM for details-Thanks!
  8. Are you running this year Qman?
  9. I did pull a battery cable and the car died (poor mans amp meter) so no charging. I'll take the alt in and have it tested, that should tell me if it's just two bad alternators or an issue with the harness. Would either of those cause the dash warning lights not to light up when the key is turned on prior to start up? Thanks
  10. The car died while driving today of apparent dead battery, put a new one in and drove it home. Dad checked the alternator and thought it was bad and put a used one on that he doesn't think is working either. I peeked at it when I got home and there are no dash warning lights when the key is turned on... it runs fine with the recharged battery, still not sure if it is charging, will get a multi meter but what's up with the warning lights?
  11. WRC is coming back to US TV, there was a thread on SpecialStage.com about it...
  12. Yep that's right-I think- '99 Forester and Imp were SOHC, '99 Outback DOHC-I have a '99 Outback DOHC with a blown head gasket (I would just fix it but it is high miles and I suspect it was overheated numerous times) and can get a '99 Impreza SOHC with low miles-should I get it and swap it or keep looking? I don't want to get into anything to major or problematic. Thanks
  13. We raced at the ORV park last weekend and it is a fun venue. Recomend either the school 8-5 the rally cross 8-6 or both, camping there too...
  14. Caged and non-caged cars welcome, these are two seperate events come to either or both. There is primitive camping at the ORV park. School info here: http://www.get-primitive.com/ SOME Rallycross and Sprint info here: http://www.specialstage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22943
  15. This is a great RX, my personal favorite for the NW, entry capped at 75...
  16. Any afternooners driving down Sunday morning???
  17. Rally this Friday, could use some help, please contact me if you would like to go...Mark
  18. You're more than welcome to come, there is stuff to do, it will be fun and you can learn some stuff too. The rally is next weekend, if anybody else is interested, check in with me.
  19. I used to think the same thing about the perches. I went through all of this when I was looking for the right combo for the RX. The interesting thing is, when you put all the shocks side by side, 2wd, 4wd. EA, ER, doesn't matter, even though the perches are in different locations, when the struts are assembled, the finished overall length is very close accross all applications. So, the higher spring perch may give you a slight height adavantage by compressing the stiffer spring more but it won't be much. The main reason the XT's with air struts sit so high in the back with springs is because of the location of the lower mount on the car,the 2wd has it down where the axle goes through and on the 4wd drive they have it up above the axle.
  20. Damn, that's makes mine look pretty sweet, stock it ran 9.479 and with cleaned injectors, K&N, downpipe, exhaust and a boost controller, 7.040!
