91 loyale auto dont have any power, i picked it up of a retired farmer who used to drive it from one barn to the other one 1/4 up a dirt road it was sitting for a 1 year i put new plugs in it its just a field beater what esle could cause no power i drives aroud the yard but it dont like to go up hills

Run a bunch of Seafoam through he engine for a while then change the oil and make sure the gastank has only fresh oil in it. Old gas has a tendency to buildup a nasty 'glue' on the intake valve stems and not allow the valve to close properly.

Also, a can of B-12 fuel system cleaner won't hurt.

Yah, when I got my Loyale, I bought it from some old people. The car was in good shape, but no one had ever rodded on it. I took care of that issue, and in a week or so, i could feel the power difference. Also, your cats are probably broken up, its best to hollow those out...it will plug things up. I cut off my muffler and welded on a strait pipe and i could feel a little difference. As well as actually here my EA82.

You don't say what trans you have, but if it's the auto, you can't expect too much. Also, if you're stepping out of a Camaro into a Loyale, it's going to be a little disappointing in the power department.

One thing you can do is take it out and let it run. These engines like to get close to the redline, and they don't like to run below about 2500 rpm.
