How much power

Featured Replies

will the SPFI support? and is there any way to get it to support more power(cause everybody knows more power is better

:brow: ) not talking about a lot here just a built EA-81(like the one that either mudrat79 or Qman owns) and would it even be worth doing over a webber?

do it. it can handle a few lbs of turbo boost, so any ea81 should be cool with spfi. better than a weber in my book! (im sure i'll catch some flack for that)

Hmmm,

Interesting idea. It would provide more power as all injection will to some point. I personally think it would be alot of work for limited gain. A fresh motor with a mild cam and a new Weber will provide years and miles of care free service.

Arch, I understand, but, the Weber is the way to go. Almost everyone of my club member's is running a trouble free Weber. And the power added from them is indeed very noticable. Most feel like they add 10-30% more power.

My set up would be a little much for a daily driver but seems to be reliable all the same. I have built two different versions, one is estimated at 150hp. It runs well but provided limited torque at low end. The second is estmated at 12-130hp. It has super low end torque. Most people who ride in it very impressed with the power available. Like driving without 28's.
