Hey All! First post at this site, I was just wondering a couple of things. First of all I bought a 2000 Forester last year (my 4th Subbie), however it recently got a cracked headlight on the passenger side (rock thrown) and all my local junk yards, if they have one, want $200 for the assembly. I was told that I have to replace the whole assembly not just the lense. Any ideas for finding parts? Also, I've been wondering about lifting it. Has anyone seen a lifted Forester and/or know where parts can be found to do it? Thanks for your time

Might try an on-line junkyard for the glass.

I have chased many Forester items from ebay to the source then

made purchases of the parts I actually needed from the yard--Cheap!

as for the headlight, ebay is your best bet, i`ve seen them go for like $30

Thanks for the info. I haven't been to e-bay for a long time, should've thought of that. It's also a good idea about chasing them down. Thanks again
