can i fit an 89 xt6 alternator in a 96 obw 2.5l ?

I second that, plus the wiring is a lot different.

from what i've heard you wouldnt want to.... my buddy is running a stock alternator on his rally car and he powers 4 Hella 4000's without any problems... i dont think that a xt6 alternator would do that......
