Has anybody here just taken the 90-94 legacy wagon or sedan exhaust and chopped it in a couple places to use the center section and muffler?

are EA81T exhaust ports single or dual? ive never seen them so im stabbing in the dark here. but i guess you could, it is larger piping, would be better for flow, but might not be enough for turbo exhaust.

i know that the rear axle bend dosnt' fit so well on the EA-82, so i don't know about the EA-81.

 

for the time and effort i'd go custom, maybe use a similar diameter and make it fit like it should.

The exhaust ports is single on the EA81/EA82 whereabouts on EJ series has dual ports (2 outlets left and right and merge into the pipe about 4" down.)

 

Why would you weld it? get whole assy from an EJ series.
