October 4, 200322 yr I just had a very strange thing happen with my '03 LLBean OB (11000 miles). I was watching the Cubs-Braves game and heard the car alarm go off in the garage (attached to house). Sure enough, I go into the garage (garage door is down, no one's there trying to break into the car), and the car alarm is going off very loudly. I eventually got the car alarm to quit (by turning the car on and off several times -- I know that the security alarm should be turned off if you do this three times quickly, but it took more than that). Has anyone else had the security alarm go off without a discernable cause? Is there anything I should have checked out?
October 5, 200322 yr Yes, the other day my 03 OBW went off in the driveway. I attributed the incident to a neighbor's cat jumping on it. I could be wrong. Maybe you trapped a stry cat or other critter in the garage? Look for paw prints. Carl 1 Lucky Texan
