We are doing our first clutch job on an 84 subie 4wd wagon. Everything has gone fine so far. We are now getting ready to put the motor back in but we don't know which way the clutch goes on. Any suggestions?

Are you referring to the clutch disc itself? I can't remember if A. It doesn't matter. or B. It will only go on one way.

The stepped part in the center of the clutch disc goes toward the tranny. Always..........
