48hrs of Tristate 5th Annual Charity Drive

Featured Replies

Hey all. In case you haven't heard of it yet, this is a unique bonding experience of Subaru owners throughout the NY/NJ/PA/NH/CT Area. Started 5 years ago as a way to get everyone together for a drive and to share some meals and meet new folks and raise money for charity. This drive will take you to 3 states, over 1000 miles in 48hrs.

Check out the details on the website:

Hope to see you there!

Maybe if you wanted people from here to take interest in this event you could have said something about this a little more in advance than just a week or so. Not everyone on here hangs out on Nasioc. I actually would be interested in doing this if I HAD MORE THAN A WEEKS NOTICE!!!!!!1!!!!!!1!!!!!!

Sorry about that. This year I've actually been working about 60-70hrs a week and haven't had time to get the word out. I'll invite yah for next year though, first weekend in Jan we run it every year :)

  • 3 weeks later...

Hey Mike, don't sweat it. I just caught this thread over hear. I'm glad that you extended the welcome to us over here on the USMB. There are tons of people over here that pay no attention to NASIOC. We tend to be more of a repairing crowd than a modifying crowd so NASIOC can get annoying to the average USMB member. Now that the welcome has been extended I'm sure those of us that read around will mention it here in case you don't.

Cool Cool. Yeah next year I should be a bit more ahead of the curve! We had a 91 Legacy Turbo on the trip this year. Along with a whole array of imprezas, legacies etc.
