January 3, 200620 yr Does anyone know of an easy way to get the c-clip off of the Emg. brake bracket that is connected to the rear shoe. I manage to get it off but they must be an easier way. Maybe, I squeeze it to tight when I put the new one on.
January 3, 200620 yr do you have the C clip pliers? if so, maybe they suck as bad as mine did.bend the tips in very slightly so they wont want to just slide out of the c clip when you compress it. good luck, C clips are the devil.
January 4, 200620 yr Author Are you talking about the ones that you can change the ends and make them do different things, I have a pair of them but they wont get a good bite. I think they came from Harbor Freight so maybe I need to get a good pair from Snap On or Sears. do you have the C clip pliers? if so, maybe they suck as bad as mine did.bend the tips in very slightly so they wont want to just slide out of the c clip when you compress it.good luck, C clips are the devil.
