Hello all, is it possible to switch out the front coil springs on a 95 Impreza without removing the struts? The coil springs I installed with my new KYB G2 struts are too stiff, so I want to reinstall the old coils. My local Subaru guy wants $350 to do the job, but I’m not ready to part with the money yet. On the other side I don’t want to take out those front struts again

Nope, you're going to have to remove the struts to replace the springs.

the springs are in a system with the struts (enclosed by the strut and strut cap), you're going to have to remove the struts to get the springs out... i have no idea how you could do it otherwise....
