Just want to say hi to you all Im a new owner of a 98 forester S 5 speed. I bought this car to tow behind my families motorhome we got the car 2 years ago and had had no problems with it (love the all weather traction:brow:) The only complant I have is the heat sheelds under the engine. The dealer wanted to sell me a compleat set of stock exhost system, I asked the guy if Im going to replace the exhost why not after market? he said there wasn't anything on the market. do you guys know of a complete system for my 98 forester???

most impreza systems should work on the Forester

 

the Chassis is exactly the same

 

any competent exhaust shop should be able to install any exhaust you want with realitive ease

 

the only differences may be a flange here or a hanger there

 

that's nothing for an exhaust shop.

they can rework that in minutes.

Something you added to your thread set alarm bells off. You tow the Forester behind a motor home? You don't say how, but unless done correctly, on a trailer with all 4 wheels off the ground, you'll ruin the centre differential, I believe. Check the archives here for more info, and if you are trailering the entire car, my apologies for jumping in.

the 5-speed can have all 4 on the ground
