Replacement Headlight sockets

Featured Replies

I've been having problems with my headlights and finally got to look them over last night and they plastic on the socket is all worn and falling apart. I checked at the local autozone and they said this was a factory part. Is there any other place to get them? It's for a 95 legacy. The ones that I saw had the wiring protrude from the back with no insulation while the ones in the Subaru protrude from the bottom (right angle) and does have rubber insulation. I'd be willing to cut and splice.

Thanx - Pete

BULL$h!T

I just replaced one on my 96 Legacy two weeks ago (Same exact headlight assemblies as a 95) and I got the replacement at either AutoZone or Advance Auto. The sell the sockets on the floor in the same section as the all the general wiring stuff. It doesn't matter how the wires come out of the connector, just match up the terminals and splice it in. The connector I got had about 6 inches of wire (insulated) coming off of the connector.
