Syonyk Posted January 9, 2006 Share Posted January 9, 2006 The '87 GL should have something vaguely resembling an automatic slack adjuster in the back. If it's anything like mine was, the three pieces are bonded together with enough junk to make them look like one part with a rivet in it. It should be three pieces, and they should move freely. hooziewhatsit Posted January 9, 2006 Share Posted January 9, 2006 also, once you get it most of the way screwed in, you will need to 'fine tune' it by turning in/out so that the nipple on the brake pad lines up with one of the gaps in the piston.
