stupid question but cant find an answer..

i was looking at 1st subaru for the part but to no avail... i need to know the part name or number for the hood lever... my friend broke his lever, but was trying to get a replacement (junk yards here never have subies..) to clearify its the part in the interior that you yank on to pop the hood.

any help would be appreciated.

thanks in advance

how do you break that? What year and model Subie? I may be able to find you one. . .

Don't know year or model you have, but I was just at 1st Subaru parts.com and listed under body / hood / release cable, they list the assy for $16.24 for a 1997 Legacy/Outback. You also have to supply them with the interior color when you order it. Try there.
