i thing i must change the pistons or pistons rings from my Brat with the ea81 engine.

What pistons can i take and givit different psitons for the ea81 engine or give it only one typ ?

Where i can buy it ?

To up your compression ratio you can use EA71 pistons.Same bore just a little higher dome on the piston.You may have to get the pistons from a car in the junkyard.

 

Use the search function and you will find alot of info on this.

New Pistons are also available - both the standard ea81 ones and the higher compression ea71 ones - not terribly cheap though, i was quoted NZ$450ish (US$315) for a set of ea81 pistons - not including rings.

to the people that have done the EA71 swap, Do you guys acculy notice a worth while difference?

 

I have been thinking about doing this for a while now but would like to know what kind of performance difference they give.
