what would happen in ur rings blew? would the car still run? just stall occasionally? i have no idea but my car stalled today and theres been noise coming from the engine recently..so as soon as it broke down today i took no hesitation to call a garage...although im dreading the bill i have no garage and not enough knowledge to determine the problem

Depending on your funny noises, it could be anything from bearings, rings or your Iac, but i'm leaning towards bearings, IE new engine time, unless you want them to rebuild it.

your rings will typically not just blow, especially with a stock engine, the noise you heard was probably your engine telling you that it was low on oil, which if it gets low enough it starts making noises, and then stops running all together.

yes once i started hearin the noises i checked the oil it was a little low...so i filled it bak up

only took like a third a quart.....so today when it did break it should have had oil in it unless i leaked out in two days...

thanks for the reply

p.s. iac??
